R. Praggnanandhaa (born 10 August 2005) is an Indian chess grandmaster. Praggnanandhaa and his sister Vaishali are the first brother and sister to earn GM titles. His father, Rameshbabu, is a branch manager at TNSC Bank, while his mother, Nagalakshmi, is a homemaker. She supports him during national and international competitions.
Recently, Indian Grandmaster R. Praggnanandhaa clinched prestigious Tata Steel Masters 2025 title at Wijk aan Zee, Netherlands.
