Badminton is a popular racquet sport that can be played individually or as a doubles team. The game is played with a shuttlecock, also known as a birdie, which is hit back and forth over a net.

The objective of the game is to hit the shuttlecock over the net and land it in the opponent's court in such a way that the opponent is unable to return the shot. A point is scored when the opponent fails to return the shuttlecock, and the first player or team to reach 21 points, with a margin of at least two points, wins the game.

Badminton requires a combination of physical and technical skills, including speed, agility, hand-eye coordination, and tactical awareness. It is a fast-paced and exciting sport that can be enjoyed by players of all ages and skill levels.
