Egypt is a country located in North Africa, known for its rich history and ancient civilization, including the pyramids and the Sphinx. The capital and largest city of Egypt is Cairo. Geography of Egypt: Egypt is bordered by the Mediterranean Sea to the north, Israel and the Gaza Strip to the northeast, the Red Sea to the east, Sudan to the south, and Libya to the west. The Sahara is a desert on the African continent. The Red Sea is a tropical and largely enclosed sea located between Africa and Asia.
In Cairo, the Nile splits into two branches, with the city located between them. The Nile is one of the longest rivers in the world and is considered to be the lifeline of Egypt. It has been an important source of water, food, and transportation for the people of Egypt for thousands of years.
The Suez Canal is a vital waterway that allows ships to save time and money by avoiding the long and hazardous journey around the southern tip of Africa. The canal is one of the busiest waterways in the world, with thousands of ships passing through it each year.
History of Egypt: The pyramids, including the Great Pyramid of Giza, are ancient monumental structures that were built as tombs for Pharaohs and their consorts. The Sphinx is a large statue with a lion's body and a human's head. Both the pyramids and the Sphinx are considered to be wonders of the ancient world and are popular tourist attractions in Egypt.

The hyena, jackal, lynx, mongoose, and wild boar are some of the few wild animals found in the country. In the deserts, gazelles are occasionally sighted, while the ibex is found in the Sinai region. Egypt is home to around 300 species of birds, of which about half breed within the country. Reptiles such as the crocodile, the horned viper and the hooded snake can also be found in Egypt. The Red Sea is known for its clear waters, coral reefs, and diverse marine life, making it a popular destination for snorkelling, diving, and other water-based activities.
Cultural Life: The country has a population of approximately 100 million people and is the most populous country in the Arab world. The Nile is also a popular spot for boat rides and cruises, offering tourists a unique way to see the city and its landmarks. Traditional handmade lanterns will never lose their appeal in Egypt during the annual month of Ramadan. The most popular street food snack in Egypt, Ful is a paste of mashed broad (fava) beans flavoured with garlic and olive oil.
